As a beauty consultant, it is my responsibility to know my products so I can best advise my customers/clients. 

I've often been asked:  How often should I replace my mascara?

Most of us use mascara but do we really know what it is?

Mascara is a substance consisting of pigmentation, oils, and waxes. Depending on the color and whether the mascara is waterproof, the basic ingredients are the same regardless of manufacturer.


There is mascara formulated to lengthen eyelashes, others that thicken eyelashes, still others promise to condition and prime lashes for intense covering of general e.

Every three months mascara should be discarded to prevent eye infections. 

Mascara should never be shared with anyone.

Through the years, the applicator for mascara has varied but general consistency remains universal.

How to Eliminate Wrinkles-Tip #2

Wrinkles will be more noticeable with dry skin.  One way to avoid wrinkles is to keep the skin moisturized from within and on the outside. Though there is no hard data to prove that drinking eight glasses of water a day will guarantee your skin will be hydrated and wrinkle free, most studies do conclude that drinking three to four glasses water a day during months with extreme weather of hot and cold, will keep a balance of moisture in your skin.

Tips to Avoid Facial Wrinkles -Tip #1

The SPF (Sun Protection Factor) will not only prevent wrinkles but will aid in the prevention of
skin cancer.

SPF 30 will block 97% of the UVB rays (sun's ultra violet rays).  Don't forget the back of your hands, neck and all other exposed skin that can be damaged by the strong rays of the sun. (While driving in the intense rays of the sun are magnified through the windshield!)

As a beauty consultant, it is my job to know about skincare.  It is also my responsibility to inform my clients and customers about products which will prevent damage to their skin and advise products to treat sun damaged skin.
